British Chamber of Commerce in Lithuania (BCC) is a non-profit organization founded in 1999 and today it is one of the most active among foreign chambers in Lithuania. Over 110 companies and individuals are members of the chamber representing British, Lithuanian and International Business and operating in Business Consulting & Training, Software Development, Construction, Property Development, Wholesale & Retail, Transport & Logistics, Accounting, Tax & Legal services, Banking, manufacturing and other business fields.
Main objectives: • Promote business relations between the UK and Lithuania; • Provide a forum for an exchange of views among English speaking business people in Lithuania; • Create networking opportunities in Lithuania and the UK; • Represent economic interests of members.
The British Chamber of Commerce in Lithuania closely cooperates with the British Embassy Vilnius, Lithuanian Embassy in the UK, Lithuanian Development Agency and other relevant business organizations. Since 2000 the Chamber is a member of COBCOE (Council of the British Chambers of Commerce in Europe).
The BCC offers four types of membership: Sponsor, Corporate, Group and Private. There are different packages of benefits offered according to the type of membership chosen. Click here to find more about the membership benefits.
British, Lithuanian and International companies as well as individual traders are welcome to apply for BCC membership. Applications are subject to approval by the members of the BCC Board. Click here to download membership form.
The BCC Board is made up of eleven members from different business sectors. Board members are elected every two years at the AGM. The current board for 2009-2011 was elected at the BCC AGM held on April 21, 2009.
The BCC office is managed by Executive Director Sandra Kundrotė and Membership Services Manager Toma Vaišnytė.
