On 25th of November, BCC Members and Friends were invited to the traditional Monthly Breakfast Technical Briefing.  After English Breakfast served by Shakespeare Hotel restaurant for the guests, a topic " The most important tax changes in Lithuania 2010" was presented by Ms Vaida Balsevičiūtė, „Deloitte“ Senior Tax consultant. The speaker focussed on several important corporate income tax, VAT, personal income tax law amendments applicable in 2010, such taxation related with a usage of company cars, zero withholding rate applicable on interest paid out to certain countries, etc.  The speaker also reviewed the pending projects that will most likely be adopted as of January 1 – a package of VAT changes, plans to reduce corporate income tax, introduce tax loss grouping and other. The audience was greatly involved in the presentation and the topic was followed by an active discussion.
